SmartPD Meters are an upgrade to positive displacement meters with mechanical meter registers. Although they are the perfect fit for many applications, it is important to know whether you need a meter that operates with a nutating disc or an oscillating piston. Otherwise, you may receive flase readings from your meter.

Nutating discs are most often used in feed production, fuel metering, and water metering. This simple yet reliable component is crucial to the operation of positive displacement meters.
